I need some code to do this: when I click a cell of a table, the row in which that cell resides will change background color.

I need this code to work for both IE and NN. thanks for your input.
 
My suggestion, even though possibly a somewhat sloppy solution..., is to put an invisible div over the table cell, & then have it contain an onmousedown event handler that refferences to the cells color & changes it dynmically. There is a much easier way of doing this in IE using css, but Netscrap don't support that (what a surprise, so the div event handler is about all that I can think of right now. If you need the code written out, then post the code that you currently have, & then I can create the code that will work w/ your situation.
