G'day everyone.

Just a simple problem. I am trying to make an irregularly shaped MIAW.

I have a specific shape I would like to make it, and I have an Illustrator file with the vector shape in it. My problem is, how do you import it into director as a 1-bit bitmap?
Director doesn't import illustrator files, and if I try to import any other files it only offers me the option of 32bit or 24bit.

thanks in advance!

You need to export your file as a 1-bit bitmap. Although, from Illustrator I do not know how to do that. But once you do that and you import into Director, if it is a 1-bit bitmap then it will have the Image color-depth option and say 1-bit for its color-depth. I know for certain that it is a pain to get a 1-bit bitmap from Photoshop. I had to change the color mode tograyscale and then change it bitmap as well as to change pixel distribution.
