My understanding is that the A+ exam structure has recently changed, and that now everyone is required to take the first test followed by a choice from three different ones for your second test.

The last time I looked into this I received many recommendations to get Mike Meyer's All-in-One guide (5th edition). As I begin this investigation anew I find that there are now several books written by him and published in 2007.

My question is, is the All-in-One 5th Edition book still a good resource, or would it be better to go with the new books (which are linked below)?

Jean Andrews also has a good book out.
Lots of free material available on the net.

Print out the exam objectives and use them as a study guide.
