A SBC for failover

Hello,

My customer has ip office select over two data center and wants to have sip trunk nackup for failover.
Do we need two sbc each on data center or do we have to use sbc ha feature for failovet capacity?

If the SIP Trunk is intended to go through SBC, yes you need 2 SBC (because if primary datacenter fails you will also loose sbc ...)
Does both DC share the same layer 2 ? If so you can have both SBC in HA mode. If not you will need to separate SBC (but they can share EMS)

Yes if you share a same layer 2 between both DC
