A/R cash receipts posted to incorrect period

I incorrectly posted an A/R cash receipts to a wrong period from MAS200. Can this post be reversed? I have done an adjustment from Journal Entry. The F/S looks good, but the aged A/R report doesn't match the B/S. How can I fix it?

You should actually reverse the cash receipt (using all negative numbers) in the incorrect period, post, then re-enter into the correct period.

Don't make an extra journal entry as your cash receipts corrections will fix it.
