First of all, it would have to be an unprotected movie. And then, if it was, you wouldn't get sounds. You'd have to record sound from that file playing, re-import it in your project and manage to synchronize it! Lastly you would get but the graphics of the movie, buttons(etc...) won't work unless you imitate & reprogrammed them.
... And no, I don't have the faintiest idea of what you're up to!

guys how do you use the load movie action and mark the spot of where you want it to be in the movie your importing to.have not tried to use the load movie yet..would that be better for my tv screen? if i used load movie rather than having the mc's that appear. pro's / con's ?
Pros/Cons... Where do you prefer the movies loading basicly!
Shorter time on first preloader, if you only load the requested movies on demand! Or longer time on the first preloader, if you want all your movies instantly available on demand. Take the place of your potential user and decide!

Sorry.... Had to go to sleep early last night... It's 3:11 am EST. now.. I don't know if you watch Nascar ( but I got a job at the Martinsville Speedway surving hotdogs.. Hell, it's $95 dollars a day cash so I'll take it.. Friday, Saturday, & Sunday.. I've got to be there at 6:30 am EST. & it's a half hour drive with out trafic...
Reason for the quickie is I want to take the easy way out(if posible).. I want to use the Flashtyoer at to make the words for a quick intro for my brother... He's after me to help him with another site and I don't fell like(as if I ever do) making all the words move like they do in there.... Sounds, I'm not worryed about, buttons, not eather... But I tried doing what the flash kit said on importing them but it does do anything after I put it in the flash... It just has the empty frames like it suppost to have something there.... Sorry about the post and run earlyer but I knew you guys would read it and post late.... I need to take a shower amd get ready to go... I'll be back on tonight about 7 pm Eastern standard time (US)

Been playing around with the FlashTyper!
You can't import those files, you have to use the loadmovie action.
It seems to be working easily enough, but you don't get much control over the movie other than play & maybe stop.
Will look into other applications such as Swish & Swfx.

Thank you... I like that but you know that it would take me forever to do that... I really don't see how the people at flashkit are able to make what they are doing...
But I wanted to do something like that and have one set of words come in one way and leave then have another set come in a deffernt way and leave..... Now you know I'm lazy as a dog and I'm going to try to take the easyest way out.... LOL
Well let me ask you a question about the loading part... If I make the movies can I have the main movie load those??? If I can, can I use it in the maner that I was talking(ie have one set of words come in the have it let the other set of words come in as the others leave)??? Also if I do that do I have control on where the movie loads (ie. in the center, bottom, side etc.)??
