Sorry there is a typo in the first question ... the central letter (in bold) should be T

That makes me feel a little better - I was having a heck of a time with the "X"

Ummmm... 22 would be "excelent"?

Regardless, I took a pretty good stab at #1 and got 21
Code:
[COLOR=white]airy, brat, bray, brad, birth, braid, brit, bait, bath, dart, dirt, dirty, drab, hart, hard, hair, hairy, habit, raid, tardy, triad
[/color]

I wonder: What is the longest word exhumed thus far? For that matter, what is the longest possible word from the given combination?

I'll need to come back to the other questions later. Thanks, E^2.

Well. That was rather thick skulled. RTFM me. My co-worker mentioned the difficulty he was having... lots simpler if you didn't need to use the "T" every time. Clearly true.

Now I've gotta take minute to fix my list. Drat! (hey, does that count?)

Ok, bonehead repair mostly completed... I'm down to 20 now. I thought that seemed kinda easy. ;) (what a dork)

What a wondrous impression to make: first post, didn't follow the damn rules. Rats.

and, of course:

I can't believe I missed that. I'm gettin' old.

I know what the cassowary relative is, but what I don't know is how to post in code that does not display. Someone want to tell me how to do that?
