A question for the King of Norsta Programming

A customer of mine came over from Europe and opened up a television studio with T1 connection across the Atlantic.
He wants to have the caller in Europe to hear a "European" ring when they call the switch in America.
So when the number hits the switch on the US side (In Manhattan) he wants a Euro-Ring to be heard.
I do not believe this is possible with English software.

I wonder if the M1 when configured for a foriegn country changes the sound of its ring??
Can't think that Norstar will change.

I wonder if it changes internally or by the ring signal that it recieves?

It would be internal as the ringing current is filtered out for digital processing.

Since Nortel makes systems for the European market, I would guess that there is a European software that would allow the use of the European Ring Tone to be heard by the caller.
Failing that, you may require a third party box to accomplish the task.

I am having interoperability problem with Norstar MICS. We have a wink start E&M DMTF trunk on my switch terminating to the Norstar MICS. On the failures, we do not get a CAS WINK from the Norstar MICS. We get an OFFHOOK and ONHOOK which looks like a FLASH. This problem is very intermitten which point to a wink duration on the Norstar MICS. Any ideas on what the problem may be? Can the wink duration be programmed?

The caller hears ringback tone that is generated by Telco not the switch.

I am getting dead air on the failures. We are not getting ringback tone. We are not outpulsing digits because we never receive the WINK from the Norstar PBX.
