Ok, not i have not published a web site just with Flash and i know i should go spend $50 on a book, but if i did that i would have to get one for Fireworks then Dreamweaver and finally Flash.
Question is that i selected .swf and html to publish. I put it on the web to test it
and i noticed it opens as the .swf or the html version above. What do i do, just use the html version to open the swf or what? I actually created this site in Fireworks and then threw it in Flash so i can make better buttons or what ever. Thanks!

the web will open the swf file but the swf file is actually embedded into an html file which defines a lot of variables...like...does the user have flash player?....does the page have margins or not?... does the menu get displayed or not?... and a lot of other things...

definitely allow the html file to carry your movie. Ya' Gotta Love It!
