Hello

I want to make a program to send emails.
CAn somebody give me some tips for this?

many thanks
Luis

Depending on what version of BCB you have, there are a couple of email components. FastNet components is one version I think, not very good in my opinion. The one I used with ease (in BCB 6) was Independent or ID components or something. It's under the correctly related tab at the top. Check the help file, it's a pretty simple component to use. You just set the server, the username and password (if required), the subject, body and to email fields, and call the function to send it. Very straight forward!

Good luck,
Chris

Hi

What I need is a program to send automatic mail, from time to time, with a attachment, for only one email.

Regards

if you do not want to make a program of your own, try BLAT and schedule this program with task scheduler.
( search with google and you find a download link).

if you want to program in c++ builder i would recommend you the components of fpiette (my see faq about sites with builder components).
All of this is free.
