A problem with linkage "export for action script". Please help!!!

I am using the supplied scroll bar in flash mx and its linkage is "export for action script" and "Export on first frame". This is working fine until I add by proloader loop on a new first scene.

All the symbols which have this type of linkage download before the first frame starts (32kb). This means that my preloader jumps in at 35% and looks awful.

When I unselect the option "Export on first frame" and then retest the file with streaming graph the 32kb first frame becomes 2kb and the preloader is fine.

Unfortunately the scrollpane and bar are published incorrectly, wrong positions shape and no text!

Do I have any way around this option?

easiest option to load this swf into another one

the new swf has only an empty movie clip into which the existing swf is loaded

move the preloader code into the empty file and target the clip

this is a problem with anything thats set for export in first frame...preloader wont kick in until that loaded.
