a problem with Get url and the char " \" ( Flash 4)

Hi !

I am trying to use Get Url with the following value :

"\western\scan\" & menu & sousmenu & ".html"

Menu and sousmenu are varaibles ( so i can call automatically the good html page ).

If I only put in the value menu & sousmenu & ".html", then it's ok but i want to put all my .html in another folder call scan ...

Flash 4 doesn't allowed (syntax error) char \ in a char string in the value of the get url : may be \ is a specifical char .. i don't know how to do ... I've try with / and there is no syntax error but the browser can't recognised the path.

I need help to understand what to do !

You seem to be doing everything right (unless you're forgetting the "

http://www......".

Have you made sure that the variables are represented in the timeline in which the button resides?

I can get this to work if I put in Frame1:

Set Variable: "number" = "tut"
Set Variable: "letter" = "e2"

And the put the actions on a button:

On (Press)
Get URL ("

http://www.callnetuk.com/home/davde...&number&letter&".html")

End On

Which sends me to

http://www.callnetuk.com/home/davdesign/date-n-time/tute2.html
