Only for very intelligent people in this feature.

I must find out the max distance(in metres) between n=5 computers that are being including in an ISDN instalation. We have a S0 interface configure as a passive short bus in which has been incorporated a TR1. Its technical characteristics are that its max synchronism error is E=12% between [emax, emin]=[-5, -17] of the bit time. Furthermore, there are a delay by terminal of tET = 0.095 us and we must afford that the max differencial delay don’t pass above Ddif = 3.0 us.

I need if its possible, know the distance, and the way to obtain it.

Im sorry if my translation into English isn’t as well as the problem concerns. Thank you for you time.

I am not that smart ;)

Are your using the BRI to connect to the internet, or something else. If the former, why not use an ISDN TA that supports Ethernet then all computer can share the TA at all times.

Best of luck
