We have a database with all kinds of forms. They have buttons on them for exiting, go to new record, close and whatsoever. The database is fine and operational on several computers but is not on others. No matter what kind of O/S and Access version combination we tried.
On one computer it is ok. on the other it gives the error message:
A problem occured while the database was communicating with the ole server or activex control.
* The expression may not result in the name of a macro, the name of a user defined function or Event Procedure
* There may have been an error evaluating the function, event or macro.

Microsoft said on its homepage to remove Norton Antivirus. We don't have that.
What could cause this problem how to work around?
Thanks
