Thanks btw for helping last time guys. This time though, I now have a outbound call problem. Ok, MOST outbound calls to toll free numbers work, I'm only having a problem with anyone dialing a 1-800-825-**** number. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I would suspect a problem with that number's provider. Can you call the number from a POTS line? I can test from multiple carriers if you want to send me the number (nospam at resi dot com)

I just had another thought...I don't know how restrictions on the norstar work... are you getting a 'call denied' message on the display, or are you getting a network recording?

ya thats what i would want to know to ...
is the norstar allowing you to dial all the numbers and then the call doesnt mature?
are u doing any sort of digit manipulation in your routes?

It'll let me dial the entire number out and then i get a voice saying "Your call did not go through, please try your call again, error 010T". The only manipultion I'm doing is taking the leading 9 off because it's a PRI T1. So the number you'd dial is 91800825****. I can dial all other 1800s fine and have been all morning.

It's good that it's leaving your system. I think that 0101T is an ATT tandem message. The LEC that you give the call to is supposed to do an ss7 database dip to the SMS database to determine what carrier to route the toll-free number to. I'm still willing to try that number for you if you want (I can originate from three different LEC's here, one in another part of the country) to determine if it is specific to your LEC or region.

Might be restricted by your carrier. Sometimes they do that to certain numbers. I had a client that couldn't dial 1010 numbers and 800-555-1212 because the carrier restricted them. Had to setup a routing table to send those calls out copper trunks instead.

Yeah, We're using our copper analog phone lines to call those numbers at the moment until it's resolved. I know we can get out using the copper.
