A Previous installation has pending work. U need to reboot 2

Has anyone experience the following error when installing software. W2k server, just installed Sp3, and now trying to install IE6SP1, but getthis error. Rebooting does not help. I also posted this in the W2k Server forum. Sorry for double posting but this is really holding me up.



Error: A previous installation has pending work requiring a reboot. You need to restart your computer to complete that installation before running IE setup. Setup will now close.
