A pop up window to inform user to "wait"

i require an easy way to pop up a "messagebox like" form to tell user to "wait" whilst some long query is ongoing, and then i will like to clear that when the query is done

Sounds like a job for the delightfully named WAIT WINDOW NOWAIT. Something like this:

WAIT WINDOW "Searching in process ..." NOWAIT
* do something here
WAIT CLEAR
