How do I get the parameter only to pull up one time?

Esentially, I have created a multiple page report using 5 subreports. All of these reports are based off of the same parameter. I set the parent/child relationship up for each subreport; however, when I run the report I have key in the parameter for each subreport. Is there a way, to key the parameter once, and point all of he subreports to that entry?

Thank you,
BuckAg

Abandon all parameter queries and use references to controls on forms.

Duane,
Could you explain that a little more in depth? I am having the same problem and I don't know how to go about your solution.
Thanks,

Rather than use a criteria for a query like:
Between [Enter Start Date] and [Enter End Date]
use a form (frmDates) with two text boxes (txtStart and txtEnd). Your criteria then becomes:
Between Forms!frmDates!txtStart AND Forms!frmDates!txtEnd

This is a much more flexible solution since:
1) the user sees both dates
2) you can set default date values in the controls
3) you can test to make sure the dates are reasonable
4) you can use a calendar control or combo box or whatever
5) you don't have to enter the values multiple times if you want to run the report again.

Thanks so much! It took a little bit, but I finally figured it out!
