A/P Check Showing as A/R Credit????

NEWBIE w/ACCPAC Software- NEEDS HELP!!!!

Every check that we have printed & sent for payment in July 06' are now showing up as Credits in the A/R and Job Costing. This has thrown off our sales & job costing by $200,000. Does anyone have any idea what we may have done or can offer any suggestion???
 
It was showing as a credit in A/R but the job costing was not coming out right.
 
There is no way that an AP check can show as a credit in AR.
 
Do you mean an AR Credit Note, or a Credit Entry in the Accounts Receivable account in the GL? Like Ettiene says, the former is impossible. But the later means somebody set up your account sets wrong.
