I have received word from well-placed sources that CompTIA will be combining the two A+ exams into a single exam. Details as they develop.

A+,N+,S+,L+,I+,HTI+,e-Biz+,Security+,CETma,CFOT,CCNT,CCTT,ACSP,ISA CCST3
 
It is about time. In my eyes the hardware does offer some challenge but alot of the questions are trivial. The OS is the need to know stuff.

OK, here's the scoop. Look for A+ to go to a single exam format in Nov.
At that time, A+ is to become the core certification with others to serve as "specialties".

Business is WAY down at CompTIA but is really picking up steam at the ETA-I.
