hello,

I know that using a "get" method of a form limits the length of the url created, but what about a simple link? is there a limit on the length of a url in a link, and if so, can I bypass that limit? in other words, is there a way to use a "post" method when using a simple link?

Thanks,

Yael

I havn't met any limitations on pasing something through the link, but its not recommended to past alot in the link, use post its smarter.

agree, I also have had some pretty long URL's BUT they were for testing reasons and I have always changed over to the POST method when I actually set the script live. No need to try and get errors if you do not need to have that possibility. It is always recommended to use the POST when passing form values unless certain reasoning is behind it. You cannot mandate productivity, you must provide the tools to let people become their best.
