I recently aquired a Cisco 2524 Router which has the 1 ethernet port and it came with a isdn bri module. We also have an older catalyst 1924 switch with 2 100mbit ports.

We have learned we may be getting a fibre connection now what i understand is we will either be connecting our equipment via SC or Ethernet connectors.

Whats the best way to do this? I know i can get a tranceiver from fibre to ethernet and plug into the switch, would that be the best route?

hmmm i think a new fiber switch is what you may need. Jeter@LasVegas.com
