Is it possible too make a programlink on my desktop in Red-Hats XFree86 3.1 (X-windows)(fvm95)?

which also shipped with earlier versions of redhat.

Why not try a more up to date window manager/desktop like gnome or kde under sawmill/enlightenment ! There are lots of others around if you don't like those -->
