I need help configuring Apache 1.3.9 (win32) on win98 in order to test cgi and perl scripts. I'm unfamiliar with servers as a whole. I'm using Active Perl as my interpretter, both programs are located on my C drive... none of my scripts will execute from the browser and i'm incredibly frustrated, any input will be VERYwelcome.

This is an example of the error messages the server is logging

[Mon Apr 09 14:11:35 2001] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] (2)No such file or directory: script not found or unable to stat: c:/apache/cgi-bin/test.cgi

First, I suggest you rename the title of your future posts. People are not very likely to reply to a post entitled "A lil help please."

Second, have you edited your Apache httpd.conf file? If not, then you should do that.

You should post whatyour .conf file looks like.

Also, check Apache's documentation.
I am sure you will find it there.

HTH.
