A HARD ONE, PEASE HELP

Hi, I have a field called Addrqual which is a CHARACTER
FIELD. The Field lenfth is 254. For this problem I would like to insert a formula field called @address after the word APEX on the first line. On the first line there could be the words "FRONT OF" "OPPOSITE" "ON".

Try inserting a formula in Text Field:
That is First insert the text APEX in the text field.Hit enter and then on second line insert the formula @address:

Also explain what do you want to say by this line:
On the first line there could be the words "FRONT OF" "OPPOSITE" "ON"

Could you explain a little more detailed. This is what I am getting.

254 Character field has the workd Apex after which you want to insert the contents of your @address which might contain the words "opposite", "front", or "on".

Is that correct? If you are in 8.5 and lower - you might have a problem as result of formula cannot be greater than 254. If the data in @address is derived from a database field and your db driver supports you could try a sql expression and see if you can get results.

If you need help with expressions, let me know but syntax is very driver dependent so I will need to know driver.

An example might be:

(case when Table.AddField = 'A' then 'Opposite' + ' ' + Table.AddrqualField end)
