A good reason to upgrade to V3? 1

Salesguy sent me some 5410 sets, turns out they're not supported unless I upgrade to V3. Really I don't think this is a good enough reason to upgrade. Not with people still finding bugs and (I gather) a bugfix release on the way. What would you do? Any Advice?

I have personally held off on upgrading one client b/c of the bug issues - even though it'd be nice to get the label-less, cheaper phones. They have a complex call structure which would take an entire weekend to test.

There seems to be several quirky issues with 3.0 - but it really just depends on features you are currently using and how complicated it would be test & down grade if there were problems. Are you using Vo-ip? There may be some quirky issues with upgrade/downgrading some types of phones, etc.

Proceed cautiously, have good backups handy. Know how to downgrade. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.
