Hey guys,

I'm pretty familar with VB6, and I was wanting to advance to the new .NET scene. What are some good books that I could buy that would help someone that is already accustomed to VB6 move to vb.net. I'd like something that can give me the info on the new syntax rules and also something that covers topics about creating web-based applications, which I'm really interested in.

Thanks,
- kisk

Hello kisk

why not try the hyperlinks below is what I was going to say and changed my mind.

I changed it cos I've made a down and dirty db ( just for my own use that is growing uncontrollably as I study)

Now I can clean it up to just show you some webcasts that have been of enormous help and if you give me over the weekend there will be video links and direct links into the MS site to cover the mcsd.net exams

Sometime between next friday & friday week ( if I pass of course) I'm going to try and record some study examples and work out how to get the little gems to run.

All while learning .net

if this should be of interest my email is email2jo@btinternet.com

regards

Jo
