A Fatal Exception OE has occured at 0028:C1634874

I keep getting this message

"A Fatal Exception OE has occured at 0028:C1634874.
The current app. will be terminated."

I have reformated my HD once, cleaned my resgistry, cleaned all app's on my computer...but I still can't figure out what this is!

Anyone help me? I thought it was a Norton's program still residing in Registry but I deleted that and still happens to me.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have an AMD-K6 500
with 160MB RAM
13 GB Fujistu HD
32 MB Geforce MX Vid. Card

look up a few messages, there is one with 190+ replies. If i remember correctly, most of these problems are temperature related.... James Goodman

With the AMD K6 it probably is heat-related. Find the thread mentioned above and you'll see a lot of AMD K-6 problems caused by heat buildup. Clean out your PC using compressed air, make sure fan is clean and running.
