Hi,

A/D newbie here.
I wish to create a folder that only myself and 3 other users can see, read and write and add/delete to/from.
I assume that I create a group and then ammend the security tab.
The problem I have is making sure I block access so that only the group members can
read/write/add or delete the folder and items in the folder.

If this is not possible is it possible to password protect this?
I also would like the folder to be invisible to anyone other than members of the group.

Please feel free to ask questions if it is not clear.

Thanks

1. Yes it is possible and you are VERY new. It isn't AD and it certainly isn't Exchange 2000. It is NTFS.
2. Yes that's right.
3. You ARE password protecting it by doing what you are doing only you are also using usernames too.
4. Folder visibility is done using ACE in Windows Server 2003 after SP1.

Hope this helps.
