A ' *.cpp' file disappeared !!

Hi All,
i have lost some of my important work which has been deleted from the system somehow! I need it badly and dont see anyways to retrive it back. I did not have a copy of it anywhere else. I have checked the Recycle Bin, and have searched for the file in my whole sytem(including the hidden files), but it is nowhere.
I am having Win2K professional and .Net installed.

Please help.

Sorry to hear that. You might be able to use one of the Norton file recovery tools to get it back, but frequently when you install the tool, it overwrites the disk space where the file used to be... But it's worth a try.
