I've looked around this forum and I realized that no one has ever posted a review, so here is the first. I found some great GUIs on the internet and downloaded a few of them, here is my review of them.

GIMI
mulit-tasking: 6-tough to switch between them.
graphics: 9-great graphics!
setup: 9-easy to use and very nice interface.
ease of use: 9-everything seems to explain itself.
windows: nicely done, all are movable and resizable.

X-GUI
multitasking: 0-it will run nothing but a DOS prompt.
graphics: 4-pretty simple
setup: 5-its fairly easy
ease of use: 3-it's not easy to use at all
windows: 0-it doesn't make them

MOS
multitasking: 10-it can even run Windows 3.1 programs!
graphics: 10-beautiful Windows 95 look.
setup: 4-hard to find the setup program
ease of use: 6-very inconsistant, but the search device is
nice.
windows: 5-strange, some windows can be moved, resized
others can't

Apollo
multitasking: 10-it is very easy
graphics: 3-kind of odd and too much gray
setup: 5-easy
ease of use: 0-I get a stream of error messages, most of
which can be closed
windows: 7-nice windows, they can be resized, moved etc.

I will add more reviews as I download them.
You can add some of your own, the site I use is (thanks GodofCuboids for this address.
Look for my GUI "Gemini", alpha release sometime in winter of 2002/2003

Windoze
multitasking: 10-it can very easily be made to multitask
graphics: 10-better than windows!
setup: 10-no setup needed!
ease of use: 3-I couldn't get the font to load other than
that it's pretty easy
windows: 5-movable, but not resizable, minimizable, or
maximizable.

C-DOS
multitasking: 4-it can easily multitask, but it can't run
complicated programs
graphics: 5-simple, no icons but the title bar colour and
the background colours can be changed
setup: 10-none needed!
ease of use: 3-it is frusterating, there is not a lot to do
and most programs goto a dos screen
windows: very few of its programs use windows and the ones
that do can not do a whole lot, they leave a mess if
you move them

GUI/2
multitasking: 5-quick, but can only run very simple
programs and you can not chose which ones you run and
close
graphics: 4-the background is beautiful
setup: 10-non required!
ease of use: 1-it can only do three things: show you the
logo, give you an explanation of the GUI and give you
font choices
windows: nice and flashy, can only be moved, not minimized,
rezied, not even closed!
