adapted from a Benny Hill routine.

Skip,

[glasses]Just traded in my old subtlety...
for a NUANCE![tongue]

Benny Hill? I'm pretty certain it was the Two Ronnies' classic "Swedish Made Simple" sketch

I suppose it could have been. Many moons ago. Maybe I got the nationality.

This reminds me of a sign that was posted in the first place I worked. The sign read:

The ending in my version of that is: (Think Newfoundlander Accent)

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

There IS f in beef!

There IS f in beef!
An old lady goes to the grocery store and asks an employee where the broccoli is at. The clerk responds that there is a shortage of broccoli and that they won't have any for at least a week.

The next day, the same lady comes back and asks the same clerk where the broccoli is. The clerk, again, explains that there is a broccoli shortage.

The same thing happens the next day, and then again on the fourth day.

On the fifth day, the lady comes back and asks the same clerk about the broccoli. The clerk changes tactics and says:

"You know how the word DOG is contained in dogmatic?"
The lady thinks and says yes.
"And the word CAT is contained in catastrophe?"
The lady thinks and says yes.
"And that there is an F in the word broccoli?"
The lady thinks, really hard, and replies:
"There is no F in Broccoli"
to which the clerk responds, "That is what I have been trying to tell you!"
