Hi

I cannot start my A+ course until September and was wondering if anybody has any advise on which study guide is best to use.

The guide needs to be straight forward and also usefull as a reference when I have hopefully passed.

Any help that will stop me wasteing money would be much appreciated.

Many Thanks

There is a Tek-Tip forum for CompTia Certification with lots of info on A+. Go Look.

I'd be careful buying a text now as the A+ exam content is under review and will be fully updated in October 2003.

I haven't seen any new texts covering the new 2003 exam objectives.

For the existing A+ 2001 objectives, most people are happy with Mike Meyers All-In-One guide or MM Passport, or the Exam Cram books depending on how much detail you want. Also the Sybex are popular. It would be wise to use more than one source of info.

Check the Comptia website for details on the 2003 objectives.

Good luck

Thanks for the info.

I have been advised by someone else to buy Sybex as well, so I think I will go for that to start with.

Many Thanks
