Hi,
Do you all know of a cd player for my car that will also play mp3 songs?
If you know what I mean, like when you download mp3's from the internet to play on your home cd player, you convert them into wav and then put them on a cd, but If there is a physical CD player tha plays mp3's , imagine how many mp3's you can put on one cd.....( since they are compressed )

check out crutchfield.com - I just got their latest catalog, and they were advertising an mp3 player for the car - looked a little too expensive for my taste though.

anongod@hotmail.com

"Drawing on my fine command of language, I said nothing.

I'm not sure if NT is the right forum for that, but anyway...

Here's what I do for MP3's in the car. I used to have a car CD player (still do, but don't use it since I listen to MP3's) that came with a headphone-jack-to-tape plug (that's pretty standard, you can pick that up anywhere). I won a Rio 300 SE (64MB) some time ago, so I just ended up plugging the headphone-to-tape plug into my Rio. Now, I just load up my Rio with MP3's and bring it in the car to plug into my car's tapedeck. Not a bad deal.
Liam Morley
lmorley@wpi.edu
<a href=] :: imotic :: website :: [
"light the deep, and bring silence to the world.
<A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> sells an mp3 discman player that plays mp3's off cd-r's. I have one and I can cram 7 hours of music on to it. It is fabulous. All you need to play it in a car is a car adapter tape. It works great for me. The bonus is that it is only $110 USD (last time i checked).

Good luck.
fenris
fenris@hotmail.com
