We moved a 500 IPE card from one Option 11 to another Option 11. However, when we look at the card in OTM, it reports the card as being a EXUT IPE trunk card with Octal density instead of a 500 IPE card of quad density. Is there a way to get OTM to recognize this card correctly?

Actually, I was misinformed as to the port that the card was inserted in. The port that the card is actually in is reporting it as the correct card. However, it is disabled and I do not have the option of enabling it within OTM. When I attempt to enter LD 32, I get a NPR000 error. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to enable the NT8D09BA card? Thanks in advance.

One last update... the card reports "NO UNITS DEFINED" when attempting to ENLC the card while in LD 32.

Hi,

You cannot enable a FALC card if there are no units programmed.

Programm a 500 set on the card and you can enable it (If it doesn't enable by it self).

Thanks one234! I manually added a 500 type phone and was able to get the card automatically enabled. For anyone who is attempting to get OTM to recognize their new TNs once they insert a new analog card, all you have to do after adding the line is to select "Synchronize" -> "Retrieve" -> "All" from the "Station Administration" menu and your TNs will be available when you add via OTM. Once again, thanks one234!

Hi Again,

If you want to add a new card to OTM you can also do the following:

- Open station Administration
- Select View -> Hardware

Here you see a list of all the FALC's and DGTL LC's (And some other cards if you can programm them with OTM)

If you want to add a new card you do the following:

- Hit INSERT
- Select the correct card
- Enter the right position

You can also add a card even if it isn't available in the switch. So if you know you are going to get a new card next monday, you add the card in OTM today, prepare the sets (Do not sync yet), insert the card on monday and sync...
