9iAS version

Hi,

How can I check what version of 9iAS is installed in a machine.
I've been given a Aix 4.3 box that contains 9iAS - need to check on the software version to determine compatibility with one of the client application.I've searched for version.txt and also cehcked out readme.txt but can't seem to find the version information.
please advise.

You should have a 'program' called runInstaller somewhere usually under your Oracle Home - find it - run it and select Installed Products and then click on your Oracle Home and you should be able to see what is installed including any core patchsets.

If you find more than one runInstaller try to find and run the most recent / latest one.
