9940 C????

I was asked a question about the 9940C. I have seen them listed in Canada, but I'm having a hard time finding out the specs and differences beween the 9940B and 9940C...NOt to be confused with the 9840 versions. Any Clues?

Last I heard the 9940 roadmap ended with the B. There is nothing about a 9940C on the Sun website. Do you have a link?

This is what I found on the Sun-Canada website as an optional drive for the SL8500:

I had a look at the site.

200Gb? That's the 9940B.

The 9940C-XX is just part of the feature name.

Yea, I wasn't sure if maybe there was an interface difference or not. I believe that they come with ESCON, Fibre, and Ficon....right? Could it be a firmware difference? Maybe RoHS Complience? Who knows?
