Hi,

we have a weird problem we installed websphere 3.5 standard edition it was running fine for a while. But recently the server on which we installed websphere became very slow we discovered java.exe is using 99% of the CPU which is associated with websphere admin server. Even when nobody is accessing the application the cpu usage never comes below 99%.

Any help in this regard is great.
Thanks in advance

A little more detail would be helpful. Such as:
[ul][li]OS (version with any fix packs)[/li]
[li]WAS full version[/li]
[li]any fix pack (PQ files) applied[/li]
[li]any traces running[/li]
[li]what is being output to your logs?[/li]
[/ul]
Stuff like that. Einstein47

A workaround:

- XMLConfig export of the was database
- stop websphere
- drop was database
- create was database
- update db cfg for was using applheapsz 256
- XMLConfig import of the was database

Hope this helps
