I am planning on clean installing xpp after 98se. I have the latest NAV and definition updates, plus subscription renewal and I don't want to lose all of these.

The question is: Can I save the NAV installation files from 98se "program files" and then install xp pro, reinstall nav03, and then copy back the files into "program files" and have NAV still be up to date and running correctly?

I know it will be a lot of work but better than buying a whole new NAV package.

Thanks in advance. Al helps are appreciated.

Thought I would ask before any replies.

Are there just certain files I can save to second hard drive to restore after reinstalling NAV onto xp pro instead of the whole bunch under "program files\Norton. . .?"

I think that would be better if it can be done.

Or if there is a site I can read the list please post. I couldn't find anything at Symantec. Maybe I was looking for the wrong keywords.

Thanks.
