I have a few 9840C FC drives attached to a SAN, the older drives have been in use for some time and are attached to a switch using fabric topology (point to point), however, the newer drives that have come in are not visible on the SAN unless I connect them to a switch configured as Arbitrated loop.
Does anyone know if/how to change settings on these drives to get them to work point to point in a fabric.
Since I have switches that run either topology I normally wouldn't care, however, I have a very limited number of FC_AL ports available, and would like to move off them if possible.
