Is it possible to swap interfaces on a 9840A from scsi to Fiber by just swapping the cards.

Where would you get a fibre card? From a non-functioning 9840A? If this is the case, just swap the loader mechanics, (from the SCSI to the Fibre card set). You may be able to swap interface cards as long as BOTH card sets are at the same code level. The above article refers to the 9840C version that is only Fibre. The A version came with SCSI, Fibre, and Escon.
