98 rebooting when using internal modem

Please Help
I have a compaq desktop pro 4000 with a internal modem every time i try to go on to the net the computer reboots it self any tips would be helpful

When I had this problem, not with a Compaq, I downloaded the latest drivers from the manufacturers website and it was fine after that. Don't know if it helps here though.
