Just wondering how to get rid of the "extra" boot options in w2k. my options look something like this:
1. Windows 2000 (doesn't work)
2. Windows 2000 (this one works)
3. Windows 2000 (doesn't work)
4. Windows 98 (Works)
5. Windows 2000 professional (doesn't work)

I know there is some way in 2000 to easily remove these useless options but I can't seem to find.
Help appreciated,
Paul

HI Paul

Best thing to do is to edit the boot.ini, it will be on the root of the master drive.

You will need to take off the readonly attribute to save the changes though.

Make sure you make a backup of it - otherwise the machine may not bootup (if you muck up)!!

Paul :)

Cheers
