Hello,

I'm working on a 3-node 9751 that keeps accumulating (primarily) app 9s. On a trap, I noticed that there were failures in memory logical partition 1, list 4 (see below. Another thing that I noticed is that the total number of memory failures across the 3 nodes equals the total number of apps and cautions that i'm getting.

I upgraded to the 9030A PROCESSOR (Prom Rev 4.2) w/ 24MB of memory... still getting the same errors, but the no more restarts. The only thing that I've changed recently, is the addition of several new acd groups. The pbx has the acd option and we had been using it on a limited basis, but now we have 10+ groups and they are on spread out across all 3 nodes. Is there a patch required to fix this?

Thanks in advance for your help!

ARE ALL AGENTS FOR A GROUP IN THE SAME NODE, ALSO WHAT RELEASE ARE YOU RUNNING 9005.X.XX

I have a (very) vague recollection of hearing of a similar problem once before, but not sure if it was here or not, where it had something to do with running out of space on one of the partitions. I recall there was a solution to increase the size of the partition, but do not recall any other details.

If you are using 9006 you might try a DIS-DIMEN type = CC to see if you are running out of or close to running out of any other resources.

The system is a 9005.6.84 3 node mod 70, and the acd agents' phones are built on the same node as the group to which they belong.

I am familiar with expanding the dimen in the hicom, but i'm not sure how to adjust memory partitions in a 9751... i thought that they were dynamically allocated.

Thanks to everyone for your replies

YOUR APP 9 HAVE GOT TO WITH DI AND INL'S, I GOT INTO MY 5 NODE SYSTEM AND I HAVE FAILS ON 4 ALSO ON ALL 5 NODES. ALSO HAVE SOME APP 9 IN THE ERRO SO TABLE, IF YOU ARE NOT EXPERIENCING ANY TROUBLE REPORTS DON'T WORRY ABOUT THEM.
HERE IS WHAT THE MANUAL SAYS ABOUT THEM
EFFECT: A VOICE PATH COULD BE LOST OR A ONE-WAY PATH COULD BE CREATED AS A RESULT OF A BAD OR NONJ-EXISENT DI RECORD. USUALLY, THE SOFTWARE RECOVERS WITH NO USER-PERCEIVED PROBLEM. HOWEVER, IN CASES WHERE IT DOES NOT, THEN ONE-WAY CONNECTIONS OR DEAD AIR COULD OCCUR.

APP 9 ARE COMMON IN MULI-NODE, YOUR NOT GOING TO GET RID OF THEM

We had something similar happen with our 9751 mod 50. We were running out of time slots on the shelf and had to add another shelf.

ACD DOES TAKE UP A LOT OF TIMESLOTS, THAT'S WHY AFTER YOU ADD AGENTS TO A NODE YOU SHOULD CHECK SYSTEM_CAP

to check shelf space on the mod 50: LI TRAFFIC_LIMTS ALL
this will show your shelf space, used and available

Thanks everyone for all of your help. I was able to nail down the issue... we had acd groups that were routing to recording channels in other nodes. According to manual, acd routes should route to recording channels that reside in the same node as the acd group. I swapped some recording channels and the errors dropped from the thousands to the teens. I hope that this thread is helpful to others, and thanks again for everyone's input.
