9700 Pro - Supported Widescreen Resolutions 1

Hi, I am considering purchasing a new monitor (specifically the Dell 2005FPW 20" LCD) and was curious if the 9700 Pro card that I have supports widescreen resolutions? If so, does it more specifically support 1680x1050 which Dell indicates is the optimum resolution for that particular display?

I cannot seem to find accurate answers to these questions. Hopefully someone around here has a similar setup a can tell me what to expect.
