9641G No Ethernet

Anything I can try to get past this issue? Other phones plugged into the same PoE switch port work fine so it has to be a phone issue.

Have you upraded your IP Office to the latest quartely service pack and therefore upgraded the software on the 9641G?

It is at 8.0(44). Phone won't upgrade without Ethernet.

Getting the same issue with 4--9608 phones that we have. Also the DHCP is disabled inside of the craft settings and cannot be turned on. Like VoIPP states, can not firmware upgrade without Ethernet connection.

Tried looking into the phone connector, are all pins there?
Seen some phones that had the pins crossed, they put a RJ11 connector in.

The 9608's seem to have not that good ethernet ports.
We had acouple already which gave a "no ethernet" or just nothing at all.

Had this issue before where 9600 sets where not working at the workstation, but once I took them straight of the POE port, the were downloading the firmware, and the cable tested good too.
