Hello everyone.
I have an older Avaya 9630 that I am trying to get to work on my current system which has IPO 8.1 Running. Prior to starting the phone up, I pointed the phone to the IP office as the file server and the call server. The IP address for the IPO is 192.168.1.150, however, every-time I save the address in the phone programming and the phone starts up again it looks for 192.168.1.1 as the file server. As you may expect... I get a "HTTP:1-404" Message.
By looking at the About Avaya OneX on the phone I see "Copyright 2006, S1.5"
And Looking in the 96xxupgrade.txt file in manager I see that the template is for "9630 - Release 3.1 SP5" Copyright 2012
So I am thinking that the firmware on the phone is too old for the new config file on the IPO...
Any tips on how to resolve this would be great!
The phone seems to be able to make calls but cannot access any of the directory services, messages, etc...
Thanks!
