So I am looking for some thoughts on this issue we found. We have 3 sites that are setup with 9620 phone's connecting through a VPN using a NETGEAR ProSafe VPN Firewall FVS336GV2 on the office end. Two of the sites have been setup for a while and we were under the impression all was fine. When we setup the third site we started to get complaints that the phone would reset at random times throughout the day, sometimes when they were on the phone. So I started to check things and found that when I ping the LAN side of the Firewall it drops off for long periods of time, long for networking guidelines. I get large blocks of destination host unreachable. I am also running the same test against the WAN side from outside the office and it is steady. When I checked the first two office I find out they are having the same issues. We followed the guidelines and when they are up and running they work well. Is this an issue with the NETGEAR ProSafe VPN Firewall FVS336GV2 or am I missing something?
Not to make this harder than it is but when I take the Netgear and test it on the work bench just connecting to the LAN Port it seems to be stable as anything, with no drops.

I guess I just want to know if this hardware is not what we should be using or did someone screw up the network settings.

Thanks

I believe so, I am almost convinced that the problem is the NetGear and we need to upgrade to a cisco, just not sure what I should get
