Trying to program a 9620 set by hitting * and then entering 27238 but set just restarts. Are there any other codes I can try?
Thanks.

You will not get it working, wait for version 5.0 that you can connect SIP extensions.

I am trying to get this working in a G650 and have been successful with other 9620 sets. I don't know the system. Is there another code I can enter after *?

You'll need the Definity forum, i think.

Could it be that you have a 9620 One-x version?

Default code for a 9620 is CRAFT (27238)
For a One-X version it's 12345, if i'm not mistaken. But it can be entered when you login webbased, or in the options menu when it's fully started.

Sorry, when do you press *?
Press HOLD27327# when the phone is operational.
If the phone is starting press * when the phone reach the message "Press * to progam", then press # until the phone displays "enter command", then press HOLD27327#.
I have also seen phones asking for a username and password, use craft and crftpw. Then you get in a menu on the phone.

These are sets that have been returned from the field. Upon power up it says to hit * to program. After I hit * it says enter code. No matter what I enter (and hit#) the unit restarts.
What am I doing wrong?

Don't press the *

If you press the HOLD(or Mute) you'll hear a tick in the speaker then press 27238# (or CRAFT#)

Nothing, the phones settings have been changed with the settings file once. These phones are useless if they are not in DHCP mode. If they have fixed ip addresses programmed then it is a hell of a job to get them working again, however noting is impossible.

I just tried the Mute 27238# and nothing happens. the phone does not restart but just continues with;

DHCP---Sec's
* to program

Can yuo hit *? then it should show you the Phone IP. if it does or if it is 0.0.0.0 then just keep hitting # until the it says enter command. then do the hold command.
