9611G soft key issues

We just installed an IPO R9.1 with VM Pro and 80 users, all 9611G phones. They are spread across three separate offices. We are having an issue with the soft keys on the phones at the satellite offices. We are utilizing visual voice and the soft keys are very slow to react, for instance when you press the voicemail key and the soft keys populate one of them is the more key if you press it, it will take approx. 10-20 seconds for the button choices to change. I have also noticed that if I access the features menu some choices are slow to react when you choose them, will not highlight for some time when you choose the feature. Today the receptionist informed me that when she takes a call sometimes the transfer key does not show up.
The phones seem to operate fine otherwise. The soft keys on the phones in the office where the IPO resides seem to work fine, and we have received no complaints at this time. Has anyone run into this or know a fix. Thank you.
 
Check to see if phones have the latest firmware on them
